aint it strange?
Well I just got done doing my first message in like 2 years. I have gotten a lot of good feedback on it. It was on the topic of faith. How do you keep faith when you are facing a life full of fear and anxiety. For those of you from back home you can check out the message on our media page and look under “Crossing Over” – Joshua 3. I felt a little rusty but I got to use some props although, nothing cool like a Bo-staff
. I received lots of comments on that’s what they needed to hear now. I know for me it’s something I need to keep in mind everyday.
It seems lately ever day I am faced with something else that constantly challenges my faith. Whether it’s the economy or even something like a new little red dot on my nose (I am praying it’s not cancer again). Then it dawns on me. It’s going to be like this for the rest of my life.
There will always be a challenge for my family. I’m in a war because I have decided to join a side. I’m a disciple so each morning I wake up I have to choose who I am going to have faith in. Man or God. There is no laying down and quitting because if I do I believe in man. I will choose to believe that God has a plan and it all has a purpose. Therefore I have hope.
Thanks Mike for letting me speak. The time preparing did me a ton of good.
