About two years ago, I remember my mom telling me about laminin.  This was before she was diagnosed with cancer, back when she was the one on staff at Oak Leaf and I was just attending from time to time.

She said that she’d heard about this “laminin” stuff at work that day and thought it was such an amazing thing.  She explained to me what laminin is, and I thought it was pretty interesting too.

I probably haven’t thought about that conversation since, until today when I watched this video.  My mom’s gone now, but it’s funny how the things she taught me keep popping up here and there when I least expect it.

If you’ve got 6 minutes to spare and are tired of me throwing around this strange word you’ve never heard before and want to know what I’m talking about, I’d really recommend taking the time to watch it.
