Barbara Conover is one of our Next Step volunteers.  With a true servant’s heart and a desire to help lead people from where they are to where God wants them to be, Barbara brings a lot to our Connections Team and we’re glad to serve with her!

Yesterday morning, I asked God to give me an opportunity to be generous.

Last night while we were at Publix, my son Nick saw a table with bags of school supplies by the register. Thinking it was an all-in-one school supply bag for students (what a deal!) he found one for an 8th grader.

So he asked me if he could get it and I said yes since that would save us from getting his school supplies in a week or two.

We went to pay for everything and the gal at the register said, “Thank you for the donation!” and wrote PAID on the bag of school supplies. The bagger picked it up and put it in a donation bin.

So…even though I did not anticipate the generosity to be an unexpected event, it still came through….

God answers prayers, not always how we think he will…but dang, he is faithful, huh?
