Ok I am going to open up a can of worms here but I like to do that. I found this video from Stan a blogger friend of mine. Check out the the story below…
Let me know what your thoughts and opinions are and I will respond later. And maybe I will let you know about something I have been thinking about for next year:).

Well Jody, I am all for the mixing of beer and the bible – there is certainly a great deal of that taking place within the text itself; I wonder, however, if the “sales pitch” of the persons involved misses the mark? The one young man is right to indicate that Jesus hung out with “sinners,” but Jesus’ time spent with them was not to condone their … See Moreactivities – Jesus’ experience with prostitutes was certainly not an effort to support or confirm their lifestyles! Nevertheless, Jesus did not allow their sins to be stumbling blocks for sharing God’s Kingdom with them. Now, as far as beer goes, I am not sure where in the scriptures alcohol is outlawed; Proverbs certainly warns of drinking to excess and we live in a world full of people who are incapable of enjoying a beer or two without allowing it to turn into a ridiculous moment (Frat House types of behavior), but I am positive that alcohol is less the culprit here than psychological/personality aspects. Not to undermine the dangers of alcoholism, but I think that sharing God’s word with good food and good spirits can be an excellent experience
